Forensic Accounting & Fraud Detection using IT & CAATs

The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, recognizing the need for Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection, in the emerging economic scenario, has decided to launch the “Certificate Course on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection ”. The Committee on Information Technology has identified IT Enabled Services (ITES), particularly ERP, as the next area for development for the profession, after the Post Qualification Course (PQC) on Information Systems Audit (ISA). As a part of this ERP Initiative, the Committee is organizing ERP Courses through leading ERP Vendors in the country .......


CPE Contact Regional/ Branch Office & CPE Chapters

The Institute’s Regional Councils/ Branches/ CPE Chapters are the Programme Organising Units (POU’s) for the CPE Course on CAAT. The office of the Committee on Information Technology approves specific batches of the CPE Course on CAAT by Regional Council/ Branch considering requests received, to suitably arrange for successful batches of the course.

Institute Members desirous of joining the CPE Course on CAAT are requested to contact their respective Regional Councils/ Offices/ Branches/ CPE Chapters to start suitable batches in which they can participate. Detailed guidelines have been provided to the Regional Councils/ Offices/ Branches/ CPE Chapters, in this regard. The said CAAT POU’s would be organizing batches of CPE Course on CAAT by suitably arranging training infrastructure and faculty members on self-supporting basis and would be responsible for the successfully organizing of the batches.
